Like the emo kids, scene kids generally cater to a certain type of music which can be considered scene music. But with its variability, it is just quite difficult to give a clear definition of scene music or the type of music listened to by scene kids.
From First To Last

Scene Music
Scene is the latest trend for kids, and it involves a major overhaul of their wardrobes, make up boxes and hair dresser! However, it will also mean a major revamp of their music tastes as well!

The trick behind getting yourself as high up the scene ranks as you can, is to know a lot about the music genres that are popular among this trend. Alongside punk and skater punk, you may find that followers of scene will listen to Emo and Screamo music, rock, (classic and nu-metal), Indie, Dance and Happy Hardcore. Pick one or two of these at first and try to learn about them, the bands within each genre, and talk about them! Impress people with your new found knowledge and you will find yourself reaching the tops of the scene rankings!

Scene is a term used to describe a massive collection of music, from Queen to DJ Cammy, and if you are not sure where to start, ask fellow scene friends to send you some music that you can listen to. Compare music with your peers, and share new music you have found. There is a massive range of music out there that is classed as scene, so there will be a style you like and songs that you want to listen to! It’s working out what personal style you have that will make you stand out above the rest of the scene followers, so divert from the norm and be yourself, and you shouldn’t go far wrong!
