    Wow this is pretty ridiculous. I go online to find some hairstyles and this site comes up. The pictures had cool hair so I decided to check it out. But this is absurd. Why make a how to manuel on scene? That’s what’s wrong with all these stereotypes. You always get those posers who are desperate to do anything to be accepted (other than being themselves, of course, because they’re lame) that they’d go online for advice on how to be scene.

    this is poor article…
    and btw.. the first picture isn´t scene…
    it is some kind of fashion in Tokio (Japan) called “ganguro” which means something like black face.. ok better is /tan skin /or something between that.
    They have tan skin but really light hair , they have white-black eyeliners.Some girls have really black faces and white eyelids and mouths… but it looks / in my oppinion/ a bit disgusting..

    not to knock your scene tutorial, but there is a big mistake in here. The picture of the two asain girls that says, “scene babes” is incorrect. As a matter of fact they are not scene; they are ganguro. (Ganguro: fashion trend popular in japan where teens dye their hair blond, pink, or white and have ultra tanned skin and wear white lipstick or eyeshadow.) Look it up on google.

    You guys all need to grow up. Being scene is simply a trend, it’s not being who you are. Not at all. If you consider yourself to be scene, then you’re most likely not original at all. How can you call yourself original when you look exactly like 3/4 of the teenage population? Oh, and since when does having layered hair classify you as scene? People rocked that teased hair style back in the 80s, man. Think about it.

    I thought scene was about being yourself and not giving a sh!t what everyone else thought?

    See, postings like this are what get the posers all started up. They think they are following the latest fashion trend, when really, they are just pissing off the real deal.

    Now I am not saying they can’t become Scene (ugh…I hate saying that. Labels suck eggs, man /: But moving on) But just the way they are going at it, coping off of everybody and trying too hard to become someone they are not.
